Terms of Service
1. License Grant
RecordVault grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use RecordVault on up to the number of machines permitted by your license tier (Standard: 2, Premium: 3). This license is for your individual use only.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, or resell the software or your license key
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Modify or create derivative works based on the software
- Transfer your license to another person or entity
- Use the software on more machines than your tier permits
3. Trial Period
RecordVault includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment is required to start a trial. After the trial expires, a license purchase is required to continue using the software. Your projects and data are never deleted.
4. Purchases & Refunds
All purchases are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions. Because RecordVault includes a full-featured 14-day trial before any payment is required, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from using the software, contact support@recordvault.app and we will work to resolve it.
5. Updates
Standard licenses include one year of updates from the purchase date. You may continue using any version released during your update period indefinitely. Lifetime update access is included with Premium licenses.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
RecordVault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecordVault's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the software is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
8. Termination
Your license terminates automatically if you violate any of these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
